MapEnglishSliderCoaching2To be successful in an international environment, it is not sufficient to speak the same language. Effective intercultural communication also means understanding how people from different countries or cultures provide information, develop an argumentation, decide, organize projects, give feedback or perceive authority – to name only some examples.

You feel already quite at ease in the world. However, sometimes things don’t go as smoothly communicating and interacting on a day-to-day basis with people from different countries or cultural backgrounds? Don’t hesitate to contact me. I will gladly accompany you as coach or consultant on your way towards effective intercultural communication and thus, towards harmonious and productive interaction.

What about?

It’s up to you to decide which topics or questions you want to deal with. Here are just some examples:

Communication: Here and there misunderstandings occur in your team of colleagues from different cultural backgrounds, impacting on your work and leading to additional stress. What to do?

Conflict: Frictions, tensions, quarrels … not only that conflicts may arise easily when members of different cultures interact, also dealing with conflicts differs across cultures. How to move forward?

Human resources: Self-initiative, critical ability, working autonomously … what German firms expect from candidates may be valued differently in other cultures, but how?

Change: Reorganisation, merger, secondment … how can different teams or business cultures seamlessly blend into each other?

What for?

Your benefits may be as diverse as your topics or questions, for instance:

  • feeling confident with foreign cultures,
  • stress-free atmosphere,
  • effective communication,
  • motivated employees,
  • smooth processes,
  • successful projects,
  • productivity increase.

How?

My approach is systemic aiming to “help you help yourself” (see globali) – combined with some smaller or larger dose of expert knowledge depending on the question. In essence, the idea would be to help you develop new perspectives about yourself, a certain problem or your environment so as to generate solutions or changes that fully fit to you. You will find more about me, my interests and competencies here.

Where and when?

Don’t hesitate to let me know where and when you would like to meet. I live in Augsburg (Germany), but am quite mobile. Maybe you would fancy joining me and my dog for a walk?
